AET provides geotechnical engineering, environmental, building forensic, petrographic and material testing services on municipal projects for cities, counties and states throughout the Upper Midwest. Typical municipal projects include, but are not limited to, water and wastewater treatment plants/distribution infrastructure, roads, buildings, parking lots and airports. One of our firm's first projects was the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis.
Our past work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has resulted in national certification of our independent laboratories for their projects. We have consulted on hydroelectric, structural and transportation projects for the United States military here and abroad.
Closer to home, AET has respected relationships with several state departments of transportation for geotechnical engineering, testing, environmental and forensics, among other services. Our Environmental Group has performed subsurface exploration, risk assessment and remediation services for many federal agencies, including the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Indian Health Service and the U.S. Forest Service. We have also successfully completed several Brownfields redevelopment projects.
AET's reputation for responsiveness and accuracy has led to consulting opportunities across the country. Primarily, however, we enjoy repeat engagements with clients for whom we have consulted for years on their foundations, roadways and facilities. Whether you're working on a simple parking ramp or a project that involves high security protocols, AET provides an experienced and professional team to identify and solve problems with the right solution.
