(AET) announces the hire of Michael Neal, Geomorphologist and Professional Hydrologist. Chippewa Falls, Wis. – American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET), a leading engineering consulting firm, hired Michael Neal as a geomorphologist and professional hydrologist. Michael’s 20 years of experience includes site investigations, remedial investigations, long-term groundwater monitoring, underground storage tank site assessments, and design and implementation of remedial clean-up options. He is also experienced in consulting within Wisconsin’s Petroleum Environmental Cleanup Fund Award (PECFA) program. Michael earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physical geography/geomorphology at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to joining AET, he served as a professional hydrologist at Tetra Tech. Michael's career has included extensive fieldwork in limestone geomorphology, geology, hydrology, speleology, and karst landscape development in Wisconsin and Belize, Central America. Notable assignments include serving three years as an environmental scientist for the Enbridge Energy pipeline spill. Michael will continue to draw upon his hydrology and geomorphology knowledge and experience to serve AET’s clients in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He and his wife are longtime residents of the Eau Claire, Wisconsin, area. AET is an employee-owned corporation, providing professional services to public and private sector clients since 1971.
