American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET) announces the hire of David Van Deusen as a Principal Pavement Engineer.
St. Paul, MN – American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET), a leading engineering consulting firm, hired David Van Deusen, as a Principal Pavement Engineer. Dave received his Bachelor’s degree in Geo-Engineering and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He started his career with the University as a research engineer investigating pavement responses to heavy vehicle and environmental loadings. Dave’s responsibilities were to design, install, and monitor pavement response measurement systems in test sections.
Most recently, Dave was the Metro District Materials/Pavement Engineer for MnDOT. Responsibilities included management of the district pavement preservation program, roadway soils investigations, and bituminous and concrete quality assurance programs.
Dave is looking forward to using the skill sets he has developed over the past 20 years to add value and expertise for AET clients. He will focus his efforts with AET’s pavement group, providing pavement engineering and geotechnical services to clients in the upper Midwest and nationally.
Dave lives with his wife, children, and two dogs in Roseville, MN. He is a music enthusiast specializing in bluegrass guitar flatpicking and has recently taken up the mandolin.
