Our Future...
American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET) seeks enterprising engineering and technical students to apply their skills and talents to our organization through paid internships and co-op programs. All AET facilities offer three-month and six-month programs for either spring-summer or summer-fall work intervals. Opportunities are available in the geotechnical and/or materials testing and engineering disciplines.
AET selects students who demonstrate initiative and leadership in school or civic organizations as well as superior academic performance. We apply the same exacting criteria when evaluating past interns for prospective full-time placement within our organization.
Our interns don’t sort mail and fetch coffee for minimum wage! An important goal of our program is to give students the opportunity to gain practical field and lab experience for a competitive wage. Students receive considerable training with engineers and other professionals to prepare them for the responsibilities of their position.
Hiring Projections...
Civil, Geotechnical and Geological engineering students, or individuals with prior construction or materials testing experience are preferred, but other applicants may be considered. Sorry, we are no longer accepting resumes/applications for summer 2008 internships. Please contact us next year!
