When the three partners founded AET in the late 1980s, their main goals included professional enrichment and profit sharing, satisfied clients and lasting relationships. Today, those goals have been realized in the culture and business model of a much larger and vibrant organization.
As an employee-owned firm, AET is structured as an ESOP, which means that employees share in the growth decisions and profits of the firm. In addition, full-time employees can participate in a 401(k) plan with a generous match and profit sharing contribution. You can learn more about employee benefits on our Careers page, but rest assured AET rewards its employees for professionalism, dedication and client service.
Not surprisingly, AET has low turnover. Part of the longevity and industry knowledge that clients enjoy has to do with a flexible work culture that encourages industry and community involvement. Although many of our staff are in the field throughout our geographic regions, we schedule team events throughout the year to build a sense of unity and also give back to causes we hold dear.
You will also note a tradition of mentorship and learning that sustains AET’s reputation for exceptional engineering and scientific talent. Whether through acquisition of experienced personnel or development through our individual development plans, AET offers a range of career opportunities within a culture of respect and ethical stewardship.
